The Meritie M2M Platform uses a robust and open protocol to deliver/exchange data. The protocol has also remote updating possibility and error-correction/detection algorithms and light encryption available.

Card can be furnished with backup modems (land line for example) or serial port cameras (or example MMS messages with pictures.) etc.

The Cards program can be remotely or with serial port monitored/fixed and updated/upgraded.

Full Back-End solution with open interfaces and specifications. Back End solution does not include any expensive commercial third-party products. The solution supports all of the cards functions and communications systems with a special M2M Resolution Function to dynamically locate a M2M card in PPP networks.

If necessary only open source third-party code is used to ensure there are no royalties or disputes concerning the cards program. Overall the program is open for development. This applies both to the back-end and to the M2M Cards program. This means the customer can safely use the product and has the assurance that the development of the product/programs will go on and that there exists no third-party with rights to this product.

All educational materials are provided ready for the customer including complete manuals and examples.

The system also has a Gateway system for Control information and for Media information so the M2M cards can be used as a network that has only few modems and/or they can be seen as gateways between third-systems.
