LED facade tubes
Zürich icestadion
Meritie LED facade tubes where selected for the facade illumination. This project was done in summer 2005. We developed this product from scratch within 3 months time. This first product was for inside use. Now we have also developed a LED façade tube for outside use. We will publish more pictures as soon as we have them available.

We developed a special LED façade tube for inside use behind glass front. The purpose was to illuminate the glass front for various purposes. The LED tubes where installed between the window and the curtain – which reflects the light.

Materials:
Clear tube, aluminium profile and RGB-LED chain with Ultra-bright LEDs. DMX control and the tubes where connected to the central light control panel. Various light effects can also be used. Light changes – fast wash, slow wash, mix of lights, colour changes, special colours, light changes right to left, etc.
The DMX control box has 32 ready made programs. Additional programs can be controlled through computer systems.
The product is EN approved and CE tested. (Certificates available)
One LED tube can illuminate up to 6 meters height of window area. The delivery content was 180 meters of glass façade which needed to be illuminated.
Several other inside and outside LED projects are going on right now. We will publish more articles of the products as soon as the projects have been finished.
