MTCS-101 Sony Ericsson connector for GC 75, GC 82 and GC 83

Meritie has developed with partners a connector for the Sony Ericsson GC 75, Sony Ericsson GC 75e, Sony Ericsson GC 82 and Sony Ericsson GC 83 cards. This RF connector changes the connection from Sony Ericsson 237 to SMA female.
Different antenna types can be integrated with SMA male connection, such as Minimag, patch, on-glass, etc. Meritie offers also a wide selection of antennas with ready SE 237 connector.
Installation is easy.- we recommend to install the antenna first with MTCS-101 and then to attach it to the PCMCIA card.

We would also like to remind you to be extra careful with the connector. As you can see the connector comes approximately 3 cm out of the PCMCIA card. If you hit the connector accidentially it may harm the PCMCIA card. If you forget it and put the computer in the bag it might cause damage.
The connector is now in mass production. Special tooling was needed.
You can use the connector when you have bad reception. The antenna with 3 dB gain and 3 meter extra cable allows you to set the antenna to a place where the reception is improved.
In this picture MTC 8813 is attached with SMA male plug.
